Remember me?

Hello all! Sorry i have been away so long...my mom was super sick for a few days so I went to stay with her, she's much better now. Then I was out and about enjoying the beautiful spring like weather here. Super sunny and warm. The street I live on is lined all the way down with bright pink cherry blossom trees. i am going to try and get some pics tomorrow and post them, because they are absolutely gorgeous :)

Tonight's dinner was something I've been eating quite a bit of the past week, mainly for lunch.

Veggie sandwich on Whole Grain Bread. I am happy to say that I have officially kicked my fear of bread to the curb! This sandwich is so yummy. You can pretty much use whatever you want on it. I use romaine lettuce, tomato, dill pickles, hot banana peppers(yum), thin sliced red bell pepper and avocado! I am so obsessed with these sandwiches. From someone who had the biggest fear of bread, I am now eating it 5 times a week :)

I'm still continuing on with my swimming and the p90x. I do swimming 4 mornings a week and p90x 5 times a week. I take weekends off :) I am still trying to conquer yoga. I just have so much trouble with it. I tell you, yoga may look easy but I assure you it is not. I break a sweat within 10 minutes easy. I guess it would help if I were a little more flexible :)

I went out on a limb and tried out a new peanut butter

Kraft !00% Natural Peanut butter. It's pretty darn good! Normally I buy organic PB, but my grocery store didn't have nay this time around.

I went to see Alice In Wonderland last night with some friends and wow was it amazing! If you get a chance , go see it!

I'm off to take a nice, hot bubble bath :) I will have a few reviews tomorrow :) I'll leave you with a few pics from after the movie last night. Enjoy your night loves!

that last picture is ADORABLE.

flexibility is always the toughest war to battle to face and overcome. It takes time, practice and a ton of thought restructuring.. I'm working on it, heh.

have a great day

Sorry to hear that your mom wasn't feeling so great, but I'm glad that she's back up and going! :)

Those sandwiches sound AMAZING! Whole wheat bread is SOOOOO healthy for you... keep eating those babies!

Keep trying different styles of yoga. You never know when one might really click with you!

Christina, glad you mom is feeling better.

So jealous of the cherry blossom, I have one in my back yard and it doesn't usually get it's flowers until around mother's day in may or father's day in June. It takes a while but it's beautiful once it blossoms.

thanks for sharing your sandwhich, definatley going to have to try it

Didn't realize that you were doing p90x, i am on the last 4 weeks, and I can tell you without a doubt that I have been known to skip the yoga all together. I know it's important but it's just to much, I try but usually fail :-). Just know alot of people struggle with the Yoga dvd. I usually subsitute it for either Plyo, stretch or go for a run.

glad to have you back :-)

Glad to hear that your mom is doing better! I'd LOVE to see the cherry blossom pictures. We don't have them down here, but the last time we were in DC they were in full bloom and they are GORGEOUS!
