I'm back! super short post!

Hello...I'm back from the dead! I will be updating a lot more very shortly. I was so busy with school/work that I had hardly any time to blog. I have a lot to tell you guys :) I will be making my first comeback post tomorrow...so stay tunes. I have been seeing this around blogland and thought I would do it :)


A: is for Apple, what’s your favorite variety?
Honeycrisp, when they are in season and Ambrosia!

B: is for Bread, regardless of nutrition, calories, or whole grains what is your favorite type to have a nice big piece of?
Any kind! I seriously LOVE bread.

C: is for Cereal what is your favorite kind currently (just one!)
Kashi Cinnamon harvest.

D: is for Doughnuts, you might not currently be eating them but what kind do you fancy?
Maple glaze..yum.

E: is for Eggs, how would you like yours prepared?
Scrambled :)

F: is for Fat Free, what is your favorite fat free product?
Not a real fan of fat free stuff.

G: is for Groceries, where do you purchase yours at?
Whole Foods :)

H: is for Hot Beverages, what is your favorite hot drink?
Coffee and more coffee!

I: is for Ice Cream, pick a favorite flavor and add a fun topping.
Oh wow..one flavor? Chocolate chip mint!

Huge salad.

M: is for microwave, what is your favorite microwave meal/snack?
Popcorn :)

N: is for nutrients, do you like carbs, fats, or proteins best?
Carbs for sure :)

O: is for oil, what kind do you like to use?
Olive Oil

P: is for protein, how do you get yours?
Mainly Eggs and chicken, but lately I have been consuming a lot of Greek yogurt.

Q: is for Quaker, how do you like your oats?
Overnight! so good.

R: is for roasting, what is your favorite thing to roast?
Veggies :)

S: is for sandwich, what’s your favorite kind?
Avacodo, tomato and sprouts, I had one yesterday. So delicious.

T: is for travel, how do you handle eating while traveling?
I usually eat tons when I travel. I like to try different foods from different countries.

U: is for unique, what is one of your weirdest food combos?
hmm, nothing too crazy, I LOVE walnuts in my salad.

V: is for vitamins, what kind do you take?
A daily vitamin, Spirulina and Omega 369.

W: is for wasabi, yay or nay?
LOVE it with sushi!!

X: is for XRAY. if we xrayed your belly right now, what food would we see?
Salad and kombucha!

Y: is for youth, what food reminds you of your childhood?
Grilled cheese sandwiches, My mom was a pro at making these, at least we thought she was :)

Things I'm Loving Now :)

Hello! Long time no blog! I have been a busy bee. 2 jobs now, so not a lot of time in between :) Here's some things I am enjoying now.

1. Kombucha..I absolutely am addicted to this stuff! So delicious. My fave flavors are Trilogy, Gingerade and Divine Grape. I found a small organic market that sells them for $2.39. So you bet I stocked up :)



2. HUGE salads. I have a gigantic salad for dinner about 4 days a week. I put almost everything in them! So delicious.



3. Lady Gaga's Born This Way. I cannot stop playing this cd. I play it in my car super loud, when I workout, it's amazing. She is amazing. I highly recommend it :)



4. Sunshine! It has just started to get warm here in Vancouver and we've had a ton of rain lately, but the past few days have been gorgeous! I feel much more energetic and productive when the sun is shining :)



5.Jillian Michaels Shred it With Weights..ugh, this is a brutal workout. After doing the 30 day shred for so long I decided to try something new from Jillian. This is one tough workout!! You use kettlebells but you don't have to use them, you can use a weight also. I really sweat when I am done this one.


6. Lastly, this show..the Killing. I am super addicted. I love murder mysteries like this. You think you have it figured out and then you are wrong! Love it!

C. Chore you dislike: Weird as it sounds, I kind of like doing chores! But if I had to pick one, it would be cleaning the toilet..ugh.

P. Pet peeves: Smokers who blow it right in your face, bad drivers, non returned text messages.

Q. Quote from a movie: "It's so fluffy I'm gonna die!" Despicable Me. Oh how I love that movie.

S. Siblings: Only child.

T. Time you wake up: I'm really a morning person, so workdays I'm up at 6am, I do a short workout, shower, then breakfast. Weekends usually no later than 8am.

U. Underwear: Lots! mostly Victoria's Secret.

V. Vegetables you don't like: Hmm, not too many. I would have to say Mushrooms.

W. What makes you run late: Bad hair day, traffic, being online too long.

X. X-rays you’ve had: Just teeth!

Y. Yummy food you make: Oatmeal!, veggie lasagna, vegetarian chili, cupcakes, pasta.
