Birthday, P90x and Grocery Shopping!

Good Evening Fellow Bloggies! Once again I have been away far too long :(
It as my birthday on Monday, and I didn't do too much, just hung out with a few friends and went out to dinner :) It was quite a nice night :) I got a few great gifts also, some gift cards to Whole Foods, which is good because I spent all mine from Christmas :)
I also got a beautiful new pink duvet for my bed..looks something like this

I LOVE pink! Anything pink! Might I add, I found this pic quite awhile ago, and it is so totally my dream kitchen...

Ya, girlie I know, but I LOVE pink.

Dinner yesterday was super duper delicious! Baked sweet potato wedges and chicken breast. YUM.

Tonight was equally delicious, being a baked sweet potato, grilled salmon and some sauteed spinach.

Then off to Whole Foods I went to get a few necessities. Mainly Oatmeal!! Almond Butter and I got a ton of Lara bars and Luna Bars. Grabbed some yogurt also while I was there...I really really wish Canada carried Greek Yogurt! We don't have Fage, Oikos or Chobani :( Sigh..maybe one day! Also got some Allegro coffee beans..so good! and some Almond Breeze. The gift cards came in handy for this haul :)

So last week I started the P90x workout..and all I can say is..WOW! These workouts are so AMAZING! I LOVE them (well the ones I've done). They are tough, but I feel so good after I do them! so energetic. I absolutely LOVE the Plyometrics workout, It's easily my fave. Then the Shoulders, biceps and triceps workout. Amazing! I did the yoga workout last night, wow, that was a brutal one. Very advanced yoga moves, therefor very tough..but I did it, I finished it :) Felt great after wards.

I highly recommend this workout system if you enjoy working out at home (as I do). It's great so far. Tomorrow I am going to try the Ab ripper. Ugh, should be interesting. I'll let you know how it goes ;)

So I am off for a nice, hot bubble bath, and to check out some more of your blogs :)

I leave you with a few pics from B day night..nuthin too exciting :) Enjoy.

It was a new dress, but I didn't really like it too much :( What do you all think?

Another day, Another Headache

Yes, I still have this nagging headache :( I went to bed early last night and boy oh boy was my head throbbing. Woke up at 7am and yup, it was still there. I had to go to work for 4 hours with it today too :( that was brutal. It actually started feeling better at around 10am, that is until I had a client come in and she reeked of cigarette smoke, needless to say, that brought my headache back really bad. I am so sensitive to cigarette smoke. So after work, I stopped off at the pharmacy and picked up some Aleve, which seems to now be doing the trick, Advil did absolutely nothing for me. So another day, no exercise because of this. Hopefully it's completely gone by this evening so I can go for a jog/walk.

This morning I had a HUGE green smoothie..it made enough for 2 full glasses. Boy was I full. I used 3 cups of Organic spinach, Almond Breeze, Flax seeds and some frozen blueberries. Soo good :)

For the first time today I tried a Chobani yogurt, I Finally found a small organic store that carries it! soooooo good! I loved it! I'm definitely buying more :)

Right now I am making a turkey chili with Kidney beans and black beans :) I'll let you know how it turns out! I'll update later on my headache status :) xo

Trip Planning!

So the past few weeks me and my friend have been planning a trip somewhere. Anyone that knows me, knows that I am OBSESSED with Europe. I actually became a travel agent that just specializes in European travels. I even took a 1 year course on Medieval English History. I lived in Leeds, England a year and a half ago for 5 months. I loved it. So this time I plan on going to Ireland! so excited. I have never been. I was reading Strawberry/Maasikas blog, and saw that she was in England/Ireland and it made me want to go even more. So we plan on leaving in August sometime. Bonus is, being a travel agent I get a certain percentage off of my flight, which helps a lot :) We plan on visiting Dublin, Cork, Galway..if anyone else can suggest any cities/owns in Ireland that we should visit, please do share! And of course we will be making a stop off in England :)

In other news, I was reading up on coffee, I do drink 1 cup a day, I can't seem to function at work without it. I drink it black..this is the brand I drink

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Ethical Bean organic, Fair trade. It's a locally based Vancouver company, and the coffee is awesome! It comes in whole bean form and I just grind it and brew away. I read so many conflicting stories about coffee, some say it's good for you, some say it's bad. I, personally have never had any problems with caffeine, but maybe it's because I don't consume too much? I have also never had any stomach problems from drinking coffee. So I really don't know what to believe.

I bought a new brand of hot chocolate a few weeks back

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us this stuff is sooo good. I love hot chocolate. I even drink it in the hot summer months!

I have seen this yogurt on so many blogs, the Chobani greek Yogurt

I want to try it sooo bad! I can't seem to find it anywhere in Vancouver! Does anyone know if you can even get it here in Canada? I would absolutely love to try this.

And last, I ordered this dress online today..I really want to take it on my trip to Ireland. Let me know you thoughts on it, you can be honest :)

Off for a jog, my first workout of the day! It honestly was a lazy day for me :) Happy fathers day dad!!!! I love You!!!!
