Hello! Another work week done! Yay. Tonight I am just staying in and relaxing.
I went to the midnight showing of New Moon last night..it was great! I was a little tired for work this morning though. It really was well worth it!
I went to Whole Foods after work to replenish my supply of Maranatha and that's when discovered Sunflower seed butter! I bought some and I have to tell you, this stuff is sooo delicious!
I also got a new kind of milk to try
Hopefully this wont upset my stomach! Most milk does, unfortunately.
So on Monday, I was supposed to go on my Ireland trip, but me and my boyfriend were talking about it and realized that I didn't want to leave him for two weeks :( He can't afford to come with me right now either. So I couldn't get my money back for the tickets, as they were non refundable..so I went to the travel agency and was able to move my trip to May 12th...and my boyfriend can come with me!! i was so happy that I was able to do this! he's going to start saving now.
I went to my nutritionist today for a follow up, and to show her my food journal that I am keeping, and she says that I am doing great. I'm getting the appropriate amount of calories needed :) I just really need to exercise more, have been super lazy about exercise for the past week and a half. So tomorrow morning I am going swimming at the pool and maybe going to attempt some yoga in the afternoon. Yoga is so hard for me for some reason..I can't seem to hold the poses for long and I get so exhausted within 10 minutes!
So if anyone can recommend some yoga downloads for beginners, that aren't too hard, it would be greatly appreciated! I have tried a few from Yoga download.com, the core one..and it was brutal for me. Maybe I'm just downloading the wrong ones? I don't know! But I am determined to get better at it :)
My boyfriend and I made a roasted chicken and mashed sweet potatoes for dinner..it was absolutely delicious. I totally got him hooked on sweet potatoes now ;)
I got an awesome package in the mail from my best friend who just moved away to the states. I asked her to look for certain flavors of The Odwalla protein drinks and these are the ones she sent
Odwalla vanilla protein monster
Odwalla Pumpkin protein (can't wait to try this!)
Odwalla Pink Poetry
I never heard of this one before, it has plum, dark sweet cherry, guava and other juices that are blended with hibiscus, cranberry and green tea extracts, along with vitamins c and e, along with iron and calcium. Sounds good to me!
I can't wait to try these out! As far as I know, we don't have any of these flavors in Canada, or maybe I just haven't seen them :)
Off to read blogs and then bathe and bed!! have a great night and a great weekend!!
The adorable Heather from Health, Happiness and Hope is having another awesome giveaway..
